Ted Kooser, the United States Poet Laureate, pictured above, from his page on the Library of Congress website, will come  Salem Virginia’s  Roanoke College  to give a public reading this coming Thursday, February 23  at 8 p.m.

If you’d like to hear Kooser reading his poems before then, Poetpoet.com has a video archive reading at the Poetry Society of America.
